12:56 (Short film 2014)
This was a short film directed by a classmate of mine, Sean Dugan, at the Colorado Film School. He had a very specific idea of the kind of horror he wanted, and I had a fun time exploring the different visuals that were in this film.
Medium shot, waking up at midnight
The splash of light from the lamp provides contrast and separation between the foreground and background. This scene also had a number of smaller lights hidden away to display the textures of his shirt and blanket, while adding a rim of light around his facial features.
